HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT YOU AND/OR YOUR CHILD BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START?

LET US GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE LENS OF AN EXPERIENCED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

LET US HELP YOU SET UP FOR SUCCESS!

At WE Play, we understand that every child—and every family—has a unique story. Whether you’re supporting an infant, child, teen, or young adult, our occupational therapy consultants are here to help you discover practical strategies that truly make a difference at home, in school, and in daily life.

Unsure where to start? We’re here to guide you with practical, individualized strategies that truly make a difference. We’ll help you turn confusion into confidence—and create a plan that works for your unique family or setting.

Let’s work together to make everyday moments calmer, happier, and more successful!

How We Can Help

Through individualized consultation and collaboration, we can help you:

  • Create a sensory-friendly playroom that supports regulation and growth.

  • Create daily routines that encourage independence and confidence.

  • Understand your child’s behaviors and identify what’s developmentally appropriate.

  • Build co-regulation strategies to help you stay calm and connected during challenging moments.

  • Establish healthy sleep and bedtime routines to support regulation and rest.

  • Recognize early signs of dysregulation and use proactive strategies at home and in the community to support you and/or your child.

  • Incorporate purposeful play that builds skills naturally through joy and connection.

  • Make transitions smoother with simple adjustments to routines or environments.

  • Select extracurricular activities that align with your child’s sensory, social and emotional needs.

Who We Support

Our consultation services are available for:

  • Parents and caregivers seeking guidance and practical tools to support their child’s growth.

  • Young adults who want to better understand and manage their own sensory and self-regulation needs.

  • Professionals looking for effective ways to support the children they work with.

  • Schools and teams interested in Sensory Integration training and staff development.

Not exactly. A consultation is different from direct 1:1 therapy. During a consult, our occupational therapists provide expert guidance to support you and your child through non-direct services.

We take the time to understand your child’s needs and your challenges as a parent, and offer practical, actionable recommendations that can make a real difference at home, school, or in daily routines.

While consultation is not a full assessment or direct therapy, our guidance is designed to be helpful, empowering, and supportive—giving you tools and strategies to confidently support your child’s growth and success.

Yes! Virtual occupational therapy services are available if we hold a license in your state. Currently, our therapists are licensed to serve families in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

As out-of-network providers, payment is collected at the time of service. We provide a detailed statement with billing codes so you can submit to insurance, or you can choose to have our office manager handle the filing for you for a small fee.

Virtual services are offered on a case-by-case basis to ensure your child receives the most effective support. Our goal is to determine whether virtual sessions will be just as beneficial as in-person therapy.

Through virtual services, we can help create a personalized “Sensory Diet” tailored to your child’s sensory needs, supporting regulation, focus, and daily success.

Parents or caregivers are required to be present during sessions to assist as needed throughout the evaluation and play-based activities. Our goal is to empower you to support your child effectively, fostering connection through playful, engaging, and sensory-friendly interactions.
