WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM INTERACTIVE METRONOME?
Both children and adults can benefit. This brain fitness program is beneficial to those wanting to take Occupational Therapy Treatment one step further to work on higher level skills OR to those just looking to get an edge in academics, the workplace, or athletics.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IM CLINIC AND IM HOME?
Interactive Metronome can be done either in the clinic, at home or combined together.
When utilized during Occupational Therapy treatment your therapist will take this amazing program one step further and use it in conjunction with your child's specific goals and treatment.
Both IM Clinic and IM Home can be utilized as a stand alone brain fitness program should you OR your child not require individual therapy but would like to improve academics, work productivity or athletics.
HOW DOES INTERACTIVE METRONOME WORK HERE AT WE PLAY?
At our clinic we will do an initial screening to help determine whether a stand alone program would be beneficial to you or your child.
IF the screening shows concerns that go past what we feel this program on it's own can do for your child we will discuss with you an appropriate plan. Whether that is to start Occupational Therapy first OR to continue with your current Occupational Therapist a bit longer until your child is ready to benefit the most from the program.
IF the screening shows that you OR your child would be a candidate for this brain fitness program we will help guide you in determining if it would work best for you in the clinic or in your home.
It is recommended to come 3-4 times a week to benefit the most from these sessions. Appointments run 45 minutes-1 hour depending on what you OR your child's needs are.
COULD THIS BE USED AT MY CHILD'S SCHOOL/MY WORK?

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
IN CLINIC SESSIONS
Occupational Therapist/Certified OT Assistant $195.00/hour
IM HOME requires you to purchase the equipment which is $549. For your convenience, we stock the equipment at the clinic to save shipping fees. In addition to the purchase of equipment, one of our Interactive Metronome Specialist will be required to oversee the individualized program from our office which will be billed only for time used.
